Youth on the Pitch, Passion in Changchun | 2026 DESAY SV & VFL WOLFSBURG Five-City Football Training Camp – Changchun Stop Concludes with Great Success!

This summer, as Desay SV celebrates its 40th anniversary in 2026, Fulscience joined forces with its shareholder Desay SV and VfL Wolfsburg to bring the "DESAY SV & VFL WOLFSBURG Five-City Football Training Camp" to Changchun.

As a community-focused initiative, the Changchun stop offered 60 children aged 6 to 12 an immersive five-day international youth football training experience — a chance to explore the world through sport and grow along the way.

Growing on the Pitch

From August 10 to 14, Changchun witnessed a football summer like no other for its young participants.

Led by a professional coaching team from VfL Wolfsburg, the camp adopted a holistic approach that combined technical skills, physical conditioning, and mental development — supporting every young player in their all-round growth.

From ball control and passing fundamentals to tactical movement and team coordination, the children experienced systematic, internationally oriented training. They also gained exposure to coaching methods and communication styles from different cultural backgrounds.

For them, it was more than just football — it was a life lesson in teamwork and personal growth. Through running, laughing, and sweat, they learned to communicate, collaborate, and persevere, while forging friendships and confidence that will stay with them long after the summer ends.

On the final day, a friendly match brought the camp to an exciting climax. The young players gave it their all — tackling, passing, and scoring — every move reflecting the skills and teamwork they had built over the five days. Their collective effort and fighting spirit wrote a perfect closing chapter to this journey.

A warm closing ceremony followed, where each child received an official certificate for the 2026 VfL Wolfsburg China Training Camp — a memento of this unique experience. They also took home charity blind boxes, beautifully illustrated books, and commemorative event footballs. The certificates recognized their hard work, the gifts carried encouragement, and what truly mattered were the courage, friendship, and love for football they gained over those five days.
